The Margherita pizza owes its name to Queen Margherita di Savoia.
In fact it was created in Naples in 1889 in honor of the Queen’s visit with the three colors of the Italian flag: The green basil, white mozzarella and red tomato.

• 500 gr. of flour 00
• 1 teaspoon of sugar
• 10 gr. of fresh or dried brewer’s yeast
• a teaspoon of salt
• 300 ml of water
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

The preparation of Margherita pizza:
Pour in your food processor jug where you have previously entered the steel blade, flour, yeast, sugar, salt, two tablespoons of olive oil and begin to mix everything, meanwhile start pouring the water slowly until it will not be formed into a ball. Extract it and put it to rise in dry places possibly covered with a cloth (usually we use the oven off). With longer has time to rise with more good will.
