Paradello is not just a traditional Lombard recipe; it was one of Grandpa Rino’s favorite dinners.
A simple and genuine dish that our grandparents often cooked for the whole family at the Residence, gathering everyone around the table.
Today, you can make it in just a few minutes with a few simple ingredients, bringing to your table that authentic homemade flavor. Here’s the original Paradello recipe, just like Grandpa Rino used to make!
Ingredients
100 g white flour (type 00)
3 tablespoons of sugar
5 eggs
1 glass of milk
1 apple
Butter
A pinch of salt
Preparation
Beat the whole eggs with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
Add the white flour, a pinch of salt, the milk and the apple cut into small pieces.
Melt a knob of butter in a saucepan, poure in the mixture, and spread it evenly.
Cook the Paradello for about 10 minutes on both sides until golden brown.
Serve hot with a sprinkle of powdered sugar, just like Grandpa Rino does!
Buon appetito!
